There are new pics in the photos section of Kay Norred (who is a newscaster!) and Shannon (Misseldine) Burch. Also, recently added KITS. include David Mathews, Bobbi (Weyburn) Lowe, Ramon Ledesma, Jason Summers and Kelly Ryan.

I also need to say to anyone that may have sent your pics and/or information and you don't see it up here, please harass me about it via e-mail. It is entirely possible that I have made a mistake and I don't want to leave anyone out who may be trying to stay in touch because I might be absent-minded.

Reunion cancelled

Well, the reunion is officially cancelled. Due to a gigantic lack of response, interest and money, we cannot continue the planning.  We decided not to wait for the deadline date, as there really is no way to get enough payments in within a week.  I was hoping we would have the same response we did 6 months ago, when everyone seemed excited about the reunion, but that isn't what has happened. 

I will be refunding payments to those that have already paid, as soon as I get the money back from the venues/caterers. 

We will be keeping the website up for as long as Lance decides, so please check in and keep posting, and be sure to invite other alumni to register so we can keep a good contact list going for future reunions.  Be sure to keep your email and contact information current with me as well, as I will be keeping that contact list going.

Reunion update and venue change

Hi all! We have changed the Friday, June 9 venue from the Pensacola Little Theater to the Museum of Commerce.  You can check out the venue at www.historicpensacola.org and click on Museum Rentals.  Prices remain the same for Friday night tickets.  Party starts at 6:00 pm.

I added a thread on our website (www.91gators.net) so you can add your name and note whether you are coming to the reunion or not...please register, sign in and add your name to the Sign in:RSVP thread under the Fifteen Year Reunion heading, so we all can see who will be coming to the reunion or not, and who we need to coerce into coming!  :-)

Once again, please make your payments ASAP!  Thanks!

Hotel block

I have blocked a small amount of rooms at the Hampton Inn, 2187 Airport Blvd. 850-478-1123 for our reunion.  Group rate will be $109 for a room w/ 1 King bed and a sleeper sofa, for June 8 - 11, 2006.  If you are interested in reserving your room there, please refer to Escambia High School 1991 Reunion to get the group rate. Or click here. Photos wanted!

Anyone have any photos from high school they don't mind being posted on the Web site, or used in a presentation at the reunion? I am looking for submissions, so if you have any great candid or posed shots from EHS times, send them to me. Go search your scrapbooks and photo albums! I will return all photos at the reunion. Let me know and I will give you my address.

We still need lots of pics or any memorablilia from your high school days! PLEASE submit scanned pics to Lance or me, or mail your pics/memorabilia to me. All submissions will be returned to you. Or if you would like to bring bigger items, such as jerseys, letterman jackets, etc., with you to the reunion, let me know so I know to expect it.

THANKS! Please help us out....we want to make a great presentation and a memory corkboard/decorations with these items, but we need YOUR help making this possible!

15-year reunion and ticket prices

Hi all! Hope you are all having a lovely holiday season! I have added a few more names to our contact list, so I am sending out the ticket information again for those new folks, and to remind the rest of you to please contact me so I know what your payment intentions are. I have only heard from 4 of you so far (thanks guys!) and only one payment has been sent in, so I really need to hear from you whether you are planning on coming and when you will be expecting to buy your tickets!

We need that money to pay for our venues/catering, so if I don't get that money in soon we may lose some of our reservations. Please help me out!!! :-) I know Christmas is sneaking up on us and money may be tight, so please, even if you can't pay right now, just let me know your intentions. Thanks!!

Ticket prices:$120 per person for all three events: Event price breakdown:$50 pp PLT-6/9/06 (does not include alcoholic drinks, cash bar only) $25 pp Seville Square family picnic-6/10/06 (kids are free, just let me know how many please) $45 pp Rosie O'Grady's -6/10/06 (includes a 2-drink voucher per person).

You will need to reserve your spot(s) for the reunion, so please buy your tickets ASAP. I will need a down-payment of at least 50% of the total ticket priceto reserve your spot. If you can submit the full payment, that would be wonderful! We NEED this money now to continue planning the reunion! The remainder of your payment will be due 45 days prior to the reunion events. I will be sending out reminders well before that time arrives.I realize that many of you do not know if you will be able to make it to the reunion as of right now. I have created a refund policy to allow you to make your reservations now ...but be aware of the policy and th erefund dates, so there is no misunderstanding. If you cancel your reservation before April 1, 2006, you will receive a full 100% refund. If you cancel between April 2 - May 9, 2006, you will receive a 50% refund. After May 9, 2006, due to having to pay the venues and caterers up front based on head counts, I cannot offer a refund. I hope this is understandable.

Saturday evening, 5 p.m. -9 p.m., June 10, 2006: Party down at Seville Quarter in Rosie O'Grady's! Get dressed up and get ready to eat, drink and be merry!
After the party, join us throughout the rest of Seville for some more fun!

Is a hurricane a blowin'?

Hi everyone! Hope this reaches you all in good health and happiness!
As most of you may know, Pensacola is still in the midst of hurricane season. In regards to the reunion, I am postponing my plan-making until after this hurricane season.

I am doing the best I can to plan the reunion for early summer 2006, before the official hurricane season starts. So keep June (and possibly early July) open on your calendars for next year, and I will do my best to fulfill the plans!

What I ask of all of you is to help get the word out about the reunion to all EHS '91 alumni that you may still keep in touch with, and have them contact me. Thanks to all of you that have helped out so far.

Welcome to the EHS Class of 1991 Website.

I have tried to keep it real simple with neccesary reunion information and a few spots for us to keep contact information and current photos.

- The Reunions page will contain all the latest information about the upcoming reunions. As things get nailed down we'll post the info there so everybody is on the same page when the time comes to meet up.

- Photos of course is just that, shoot me an e-mail and I will add a current photo of you to share with everybody. I'm sure we are all just as beautiful as we were back then. Right? Right?

- On the K.I.T. page you can post whatever contact information you feel comfortable with. We're talking e-mail addresses, personal Web pages, instant messenger usernames, My Space pages, even cell phone numbers if you are feeling real brave. Just shoot me an e-mail and I will post whatever you want me to.

- The Forums are where the real fun begins. I have tried to come up with a few topics that I think may get everybody to participate. Stuff like "Entertainment" "Current Events" and "Sports" always gets people talking. Then there is also a forum called Updates where you can post a short bio of what you have been up to recently (Brooke for example is hooked on Ebay). I have also added an Announcements page where we can let each other know about marriages, births or other life events. And if you want to suggest something for the reunion, there is a spot for that too. There are a few others in there as well. The forums will be more robust and active the more people participate so don't be modest, register and let's catch up. Also, if you guys have any suggestions as to how the forums can be improved, I'd love to hear them, so e-mail me.

I plan on keeping this site up for quite a long time so please come back often.

Jeffrey graduated from Escambia High School where he excelled in football. He continued playing football for Troy State University. Jeffrey achieved his Bachelors Degree in Education and his Masters Degree in Physical Education, both from the University of West Florida.

Jeffrey worked for the school districts of Escambia County, Santa Rosa County and Mobile County as a math and PE teacher and coached football, track, softball and weightlifting. Most recently he coached at Wedgewood Middle School and was to begin this year at Jim Baily Middle School.

Jeffrey admired and respected his students and felt privileged to help motivate and guide them towards being positive individuals. Jeffrey's Wedgewood track team recently won first place in the county meet and he was so proud of them. He loved working with children and was proud of every event regardless of winning or losing. Jeffrey maintained contact with many students he had coached throughout the years. Jeffrey was often honored at the State and County level for his accomplishments, including being selected the Pensacola News Journals' Coach of the Year for weightlifting.

Jeffrey often said that his own coaches from community ball, junior and high school and college that helped mold, motivate and inspire him.

His family wishes to thank them all.

As much as Jeffrey loved coaching he considered his greatest accomplishment and pride and joy, his handsome son Chad Colton Edgar, and his beautiful daughter, Devin McKenzie Edgar. Jeffrey loved his children dearly and lived for every moment he could spend with them. He was constantly bragging about them when they were away. Jeffrey loved and thought often of his daughter Madison Edgar, who lives in Mobile, AL.

Jeffrey also took delight in being a big brother to his lovely sister, Whitney Young. Jeffrey was loving and a much-loved son who had a special bond with his mother, Patti.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his namesake and Grandfather, Lloyd Trawick, and his paternal Grandfather, Pat Edgar.

Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Patti Trawick Young; his children, Chad Edgar and Devin Edgar of Pensacola, and Madison Edgar of Mobile, AL; his brother, Jerry Edgar II of Houston, TX; his sister, Whitney Young; grandmother and friend Louise Trawick; aunt, Nancy Trawick of Ocala, FL; cousins, Ray Dupree, Michele Dupree (Mike Nail), and Brigette Dupree Heye (Pat Heye) and many beloved second cousins.

Jeffrey is also survived by his father, Jerry Allen Edgar, Sr.; grandmother, Cathryn Edgar Matthews; sister, Sable Edgar; uncle Pete (Cindy) Edgar, uncle Ronnie (Sandy) Edgar, uncle Dwain Edgar, his aunt Sue Howell(Bill) and many beloved cousins.

Jeffrey was blessed to have special friends Chad Chavers, Brian Crites, Astley Blackwell and Evan Baily, Many, many other should be included in this list.

Jeffrey was honored to work with so many talented people and appreciated the relationships he developed throughout his career.

Vistitation will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel on Thursday, July 28, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

A celebration of Jeffrey's life will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Friday, July 29, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

Honarary pallbearers are Jeffrey's former player and students.

Active pallbearers are Brian Sasser, Kevin Edgar, Chad Chavers, Astley Blackwell, Brian Crites, Jason Sommers and Ray Dupree.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Members First Credit Union in the name of Pattie Young for the benefit of Chad and Devin Edgars educational fund.
